About this role

Directly participate in designing, programming, and developing core gameplay systems, mechanics, and features for mobile puzzle game projects using Unity (C#).
Take ownership of critical technical components and solve complex challenges related to gameplay, architecture, and performance.
Participate throughout the entire game development lifecycle: Prototype – Production – Release – LiveOps.
Collaborate with Game Designers to implement gameplay concepts and develop tools to support balancing and gameplay tuning.
Work closely with Artists to integrate assets, animations, and VFX while ensuring efficient performance and operation within Unity.
Proactively optimize game performance, including FPS, memory usage, loading time, and build size; troubleshoot crashes/ANRs and ensure a stable experience across a wide range of devices.
Conduct code reviews, refactoring, and propose technical solutions to improve code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Lead a Developer team of approximately 5–7 members, directly contributing to task allocation, resolving technical blockers, and ensuring development progress.
Define and align technical solutions, coding standards, architecture, and best practices across the team.
Monitor deliverable quality, manage technical debt, and ensure consistency across the codebase.
Mentor and support the professional development of Junior/Middle Developers through code reviews, technical sharing sessions, and hands-on guidance.
Collaborate with Game Product Managers, Game Designers, Artists, and relevant stakeholders to assess technical feasibility, estimate effort, and implement product requirements.
Proactively identify technical risks, propose solutions, and improve development processes to enhance overall team productivity.

At least 6 years of experience in game development using Unity (C#), with strong programming fundamentals and the ability to independently handle complex technical challenges.
Experience leading or technically mentoring a Developer team of 3–5 or more members.
Hands-on experience contributing to at least one mobile game project throughout the development lifecycle, from development to release.
Strong proficiency in Unity, C#, OOP, and Design Patterns, with a solid understanding of Software Architecture and Clean Code principles.
Experience optimizing mobile game performance, including FPS, memory usage, draw calls, and build size.
Ability to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, estimate effort, and resolve issues arising during development.
Strong skills in code review, mentoring, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
Willingness to remain hands-on with coding while taking on team leadership responsibilities.

Experience developing and operating Casual/Puzzle Games, particularly Tile, Match, or similar puzzle genres.
Experience handling Crash/ANR issues, profiling, and performance optimization on Android/iOS.
Experience building Custom Editors, Tooling, or supporting tools for Game Designers.
Understanding of Shaders, VFX Pipeline, and Asset Optimization in Unity.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of NodeJS, Python, or Nim is a plus.
