About this role

  • Lead, manage, and develop the QC team, including task assignment, performance tracking, coaching, and team development.
  • Plan and manage QA/QC activities throughout the game development and release lifecycle.
  • Build and improve test plans, test cases, test scenarios, checklists, and QA processes.
  • Review and ensure the quality of testing activities and bug reports.
  • Work closely with Game Design, Development, Art, Product, and other teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor bugs, prioritize issues based on severity and impact, and follow up until resolution.
  • Establish and improve QA standards, workflows, and quality metrics for the team.
  • Identify potential risks and quality issues before game releases.
  • Support release testing, regression testing, feature testing, compatibility testing, and gameplay testing.
  • Analyze recurring issues and propose solutions to improve product quality and development processes.

What we're looking for

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in the Game industry.
  • Experience testing mobile games is highly preferred.
  • Experience in leading or managing a QA/QC team.
  • Strong understanding of Game Testing methodologies, QA processes, and bug lifecycle.
  • Experience with test planning, test case design, regression testing, and release testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Game Design, Development, Art, and Product teams.
  • Strong ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced game development environment.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Puzzle / Casual / Mobile Games.
  • Experience working in a LiveOps environment.
  • Experience setting up or improving QA processes for a game team.
  • Familiarity with game analytics, player behavior, and gameplay quality.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior/mid-level QA members.
